CHRISTMAS TIME IN CHARLESTON, SOUTH CAROLINA

Aunty Christy has to experience Charleston while visiting us here in NC. So we took off for the Day to Charleston to spend the day. Taking her to some of the History sites and of course the carriage ride through the streets of Charleston. It's was a warm and festive time to visit as we were able to experience the little street lamps and Christmas lights illuminate the streets at dusk while riding on our tour of the town. We had a great time and took way to many photos. Just a few of the kids and her along with some of the buildings.

Aunty Christy Times

Marks sister is here visiting and the kids are keeping her busy having fun! Here are some of the photos so far for our family back home to enjoy. We are setting out to do some more things together.

CHRISTMAS EVE, EVENING

We spent the evening with a couple family friends and celebrated different family traditions. The Cobb family tradition is to try a different type of food each Christmas Eve. Enjoy the photos! From eating bugs, Christmas songs, Story of Christ birth and enjoying some good ole family talents. We laughed and celebrated the evening together!

Finding the 2008 Tree!

A few photos of finding the tree this year! Kids and Mark putting the tree in place in the house.

LOW COUNTRY BOIL - OYSTER ROAST WITH OUR FAMILY FRIENDS!

We were invited to our second low country boil (the first one Football finals interfered we would have been there Richard). The Cobb family invited us to experience something traditional in the south. It was a blast and very delicious. From Oysters, Shrimp and for the die hard participants who weathered the cold weather a bit of crab and lobster. It was a fun night and we went home with a door prize (a lost dog), yes it too was freezing and Andraa said no to her kids so I was suckered by batting eyes of my kids, "Mom just for the night!"

Which one of our mom's is going to give in???

CHRISTMAS IN DAVIDSON

We went up to attend Christmas in Davidson. It was very festive with vendors, entertainment, carriage rides, friends, and lots of fun. Some photos of the night. Only one with Zach as it's not cool to have pictures taken in front of friends.
