BRADLEY CHEF'S DAY AT SCHOOL

Today was a fun Field Trip day at TK. Before he left for the Chef's Day he had facepainting at school! It was adorable! He made a cheese roll from start to finish. It was yummy!

FIRST FOOTBALL WIN

This weekend it was the second game for Zach and the first Win! Here are some photos for all to see him in action. Along with a couple of our family spectators. Guess who was behind the camera as Morgan stayed back home due to babysitting job?

OUR FRIENDS THE BROWN'S MOVED :(

Just some photos from The Brown Family Departure! It was a sad day! We will miss you but look forward to going on a road trip to Virginia to visit. Wish you well on your new adventure as a family! We love you Chip, Stephanie and Baby Cash!

School Day for Bradley

Today was his first day of Transitional Kindergarten. He was so excited he had everything ready to go. No tears leaving him at the gate he just took off for the playground and didn't hesitate at all.

Camping Trip Labor Day 2008

We went away for the Labor Day weekend with three other families up in the mountains at W. Kerr Recreation Area. The first night we arrived it poured buckets and then the next morning it was beautiful and stayed that way the rest of the time. The kids had a blast along with Mark and I. From hiking, kayaking, swiming in the lake, and mountain bike riding there was a ton to do. It was our first time camping here in NC since our move since we lost most of last summer due to storage and relocation. Enjoy the photos of the weekend.

Our Three State Zoo Day

We went to the zoo with friends (Shelly, Ethan and Kelsey) in South Carolina. It was a fun day weather in SC was good and crowds were small. We enjoyed the day looking at animals, the aroma of a zoo not so fun, feeding the birds and riding on some rides. As it is here in these Southern States it's so full of foliage that you don't always know where you are. Shelly and I were talking so much on the way home we forgot a turn and ended up entering into Georgia an hour down the road. Opps our hour in a half trip home turned into four hours we just laughed turned around and kept driving. It was a good thing Zach stayed home due to Football cause he would have missed practice.

08-08-08 - A BIG DAY!

HAPPY 39th BIRTHDAY MARK! He was so excited his birthday was 08-08-08 and on the Opening Ceremonies of the Olympics!!! It was so nice of China to have such a birthday celebration for him. Morgan and I surprised him with a International dinner (Greek Salad, Burrito and Chips and salsa, Pasta and Stromboli, Orange Chicken, Hamburgers and French Fries) at home, we ran Zach to football practice and then headed over to our friends home to watch the Opening Ceremonies in their theater room with a group of friends and have cake. It was a fun night. Amazing show China put on! Mark enjoyed his new kayaking vest we bought him for his birthday the next day as we went out on the lake as a family!

National Night Out Parade

I went to drop Zach off for the local National Night Out Parade in our community that his scouting troop was participating in. Bradley was so excited he and two of his friends Wyatt and Lilly were asked to ride in the Officers float. Enjoy some of the photos. Morgan was there but had taken off to the parade route and didn't get her photo.

WEEKEND EVENING FAMILY BIKE RIDE

We decided to ride our bikes to return movies instead of driving. It was a fun ride. Bradley did fall asleep and my legs were burning up those hills.

SWIM PARTY JULY 08

Well this was the event that made me realize we had been here a year. It was the first event we attended at church when we arrived. Notice we are part of the party as Mark is busy grilling unlike last year. Fun was had by all as we weren't sure if it would be rained out.
