We arrived driving first to the DC Temple tooks some photos and walked the beautiful grounds. Then drove right into Arlington Cemetery to view the changing of the guards and the cemetery. We then drove and toured Georgetown University. We checked into our hotel and did the long walk to the night time Memorials. The weather was perfect a wonderful day of memoriable events.
It was fun but a bit hectic driving into the city with all the road closures with the Holiday road closures due to security measures. Luckily we had a hotel on the Mall so we metro around the town.
